Good morning CPEC High School Families! Brrrr it's f f f f freezing out there today! Please make sure your children are dressed appropriately. Jackets, toques, gloves/mittens, and boots should be worn.
Also, to clear up any confusion, CPEC Elementary does not have school today but CPEC High School does. You read that right. Classes as usual for our high school students today. Yay learning! Hello parents! Come out and support the John Peigan Memorial Round Dance. The grade 9 class will also be having an on site Canteen Fundraiser. They would appreciate your support for this upcoming event.
That's right! Come to the Band Hall on December 18th and witness the deadliness of our students and staff! Watch them sing, dance, make chocolate milk, or whatever! Celebrity judges will be in attendance. That's right Jinjerbeef will be there! Who? Come and find out! See you there! See poster for more details.
The Grade 11 & 12's will be going to Regina on Wednesday, November 25th for a tour of Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina Campus with Mr. Adam and Mrs. Sophie. Students need to return their permission forms in order to attend as there will be no last minute calls. They have had these permission forms for two weeks. Lunch will be provided and students will return by 3:00pm. Please have them dress warm.
Good morning CPEC Families. School is open today. Many, many "miigwetches" to the PFN Maintenance Crew of Albert, Kris, Davey, RJ, Chris, and Derwin for clearing the roads and making this possible. You guys rock! Not all yards have been been cleared but roads leading to them have. Students may have to trudge through a little snow to get to their van. Please ensure your child has their winter gear on, especially their winter jacket. Van drivers have been instructed to disallow them access to the van and send them back home to dress appropriately. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
Good morning CPEC Families. The Highway Hotline says travel is not recommended. Part of the Trans Canada is closed. PFN roads are blown in and our vans won't be able to safely pick up students. According to Saskatchewan Highway Updates on Facebook, those who have braved the roads from Regina to Fort Qu'Appelle are travelling 30-50 km/hr. The roads are icy and it is windy. It's too risky for students and staff. No school today.
Good morning CPEC Families. Due to the rain overnight and worsening circumstances, the decision has been made to close school today. The road conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout the day, with more snow anticipated and strengthening winds. Buses will not be running today and the school will be closed. We are hoping to welcome all students and staff back tomorrow for our regularly scheduled programming.
The Grade 9 class is having a fundraiser on Wednesday, November 20th. Limited to 150 orders. Pick up your order form from the high school. See the poster for more details.
