Good day CPEC Families. Semester one is officially done today. Woohoo! Turn-around days are Tuesday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 29th. Turn-around days are a part of the regular high school schedule. Teachers use the first day for grading assignments, projects, and final exams, as well as completing their report cards. Teachers use the second day to plan and prep for semester two, gathering resources, creating their syllabuses, drafting unit plans, contacting guests, scheduling field trips, etc. Semester two starts on Thursday, January 30th. Yay! Also, our grade 7 and 8's do not have classes on Tuesday or Wednesday as well. Support staff will be in training and professional development during these two days. If you have any questions please contact Principal Jason at the High School. Thank you for your continued support!

Good day CPEC High School Families. This is a reminder that we need your child's Asessippi Ski Resort permission form by this Thursday. We need to confirm with the resort and bus charter company our final numbers Friday morning. Thank you for your support and cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions, please call the high school at 306-332-1571.
Good morning CPEC Families. Due to the extreme cold and a temperature -48C with windchill, bussing is cancelled and both schools are closed. If the forecast holds true, we plan on welcoming back students Tuesday morning. Stay warm and take care!
Good day CPEC Families. Please review our Extreme Windchill Guidelines. Please note that the decision to cancel bussing or close school does not happen until the morning of, between 6:45 and 7:00 AM. Currently the forecast is calling for a temperature of -33C but feeling like -47C with windchill. We use the following guidelines to aid in our decision. Please familiarize yourself with it. Also, check back here tomorrow morning around 7:00 AM for any updates.

Good morning CPEC Families. The Highway Hotline says travel is not recommended. We have reports of vehicles pulling over on the highway and near white out conditions on certain sections of the highways. Some PFN roads are blown in and our vans won't be able to safely pick up students. According to Saskatchewan Highway Updates on Facebook, those who have braved the roads from Regina to Fort Qu'Appelle are travelling at greatly reduced speeds. The roads are icy with loose snow and its drifting. It's too risky for students and staff. No school today.
