Good day CPEC families! It's that time of year again! Students have been working diligently in their classes since September 4th and with midterms happening this week, it can mean only one thing, report cards!
Report cards will be handed out at Parent/Teacher/Student conferences on the evenings of November 17th and November 18th from 4:00 - 8:00. Please stop by the Elementary School and the High School anytime during that four hour window to meet with your child's teacher(s). Each family that attends the conference nights will get their name into a draw for one of 14 gift cards. There will be cookies, juice, coffee, and tea as well. We can't wait to see you and discuss your child's progress!

Good day CPEC Families. We will be observing Indigenous Veterans Day on Monday, November 10th and Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11th. There will be no classes for CPEC students on these days. Please note, that on Friday, November 7th, we will wear red and/or black in remembrance of these two important days. Students will participate in a whole school assembly to honour and remember the brave women and men who have served our country, those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who continue to protect the freedoms we cherish today.
Good day CPEC Families. CPEC Elementary and CPEC High School are participating in professional development tomorrow, Friday, September 26th. They are receiving training on Trauma Informed Care.
There is no school for elementary students and high school students on this day. Thank you for your support in this endeavour and allowing us the time to undergo this vital instruction. Good day CPEC families. It's that time of year! School start up has begun. Staff have been working hard at getting things ready for our students! We would like to acknowledge and extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of Robert Obey, Robert Kahnapace, Debra Agecoutay, and Beatrice Obey. Their passing leaves a tremendous hole in the hearts of loved ones and the community. We will do everything in our power to support all their children and grandchildren at both the elementary and high school buildings upon their return. Due to two funerals this week, the first day of school is being delayed by a couple of days. We will welcome all our students back on Thursday, September 4th. Registrations are available at the elementary and high school. Please drop in on Thursday, Tuesday or Wednesday to register your student. Those who do so, will get their names entered into a draw for one of three $100 Co-op gift cards. See you all very soon!
Good day CPEC Families! Just a reminder that approximately 50 students and half the high school staff will be going to Asessippi Ski Resort tomorrow (Thursday, March 13th)! For those 30 or so students who are not going, it's a regular school day. Attendance will be taken as usual. Staff will be in the building and are there to provide supervision and support throughout the day. There is no school on Friday for any students. All CPEC staff are participating in professional development that day.
Due to the continued extreme windchill, the buses will not be doing their day's end drop offs. Parents/guardians will need to pick them up their students. We will see what tomorrow morning brings in regard to transportation and school being open.
