Good day CPEC Families. Here is a two week glance for the high school. Please note, today and tomorrow are turnaround days. These are the two days between semester one and semester two where teachers are finishing assessments and report cards from semester one and planning and prepping for semester two. Students in grades 9 to 12 do not have classes on these days. The exception is for students who are credit completing. Students who have not earned their credit are given additional time to complete the necessary work to meet the necessary outcomes. They are expected to be at school on the turnaround days.

Good day CPEC High School Families! As per the note that was sent home yesterday, picture day is just around the corner. Woohoo! See said note attached below.
Good evening CPEC Families. The Band Office and Circle of Care Health are closed tomorrow because of the forecasted temperature of -43C. Both CPEC schools will follow suit and will be closed as well. We hope to welcome students back on Friday but will have to wait and see if the extreme temperatures remain or subside. We will inform you as soon as a decision is made. Thank you for your support. Be safe and stay warm!
Good morning CPEC Families. According to the Highway Hotline, roads in and around Regina and Pasqua First Nation are either "Closed" or "Travel Not Recommended". Due to these winter driving conditions and the safety of our students and staff, school will be closed for today. We will welcome back all students and staff on Monday, January 19th. Stay home and stay safe.
Good day CPEC Families. The high school is scheduled to ski Mission Ridge on Friday, January 30th. A seven page note has been sent home with your child. Please read through it and it send back no later than January 23rd. The sooner the better. Any forms returned after that date will not be processed. Please ensure you have signed page 4, page 6, and filled out the necessary information on page 7. We know this is a lot but it is required by Mission Ridge Winter Park. Thank you for your attention to this matter. A bagged lunch, snack, and drinks will be provided by the school. If students are wanting more sustenance than that, they can bring their own monies and spend it at Bubba's @ Mission restaurant. We look forward to a fun and exhilarating day on the slopes! If you have any questions, please call the high school at 306-332-1571.
Good day CPEC Families! Please see the attached poster for information about our upcoming professional development day on Monday, January 12th. There will be no school for students from K to grade 9. There are regular classes for students in grades 10, 11 & 12. The end of semester one is just around the corner and it is imperative that our students in grades 10 to 12 attend this day to complete current and past assignments. There are only 12 days remaining of semester one so time is of the essence! The buses will be running to pick up your grade 10, 11, and 12 student. If you would like to know what assignments need to be completed, please call the school and we can connect you with their teacher. Thank you for your continued support, especially at this critical time of the year.
It's that time of year CPEC families! We hope your holiday season was filled with visiting friends and families, sleeping in, and devouring some delicious treats! As all good things must, the break has come to an end. We are excited to welcome students back to school on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Woohoo! We can't wait to get back into the rhythm of learning, growing, and reconnecting. Here's to a wonderful 2026 filled with new opportunities, renewed hope, and many moments to celebrate together!
